Woda Cooper Companies, Inc.’s Summer Internship Program provided many valuable experiences for the 22 students who represented ten universities. Our summer interns proved eager to learn about the affordable housing industry, including the significant and widespread demand, and steps we take to address housing needs in the 17 states where we operate. Of the 22 interns, seven individuals have extended their internships and two other interns have now signed on as permanent employees. We are proud to see them continue with their work experiences at Woda Cooper Companies.
The students represented Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, Miami University, University of Dayton, Bethany College, Kent State University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Franklin University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Clemson University, and Indiana University.

The Summer Internship Program gave participants first-hand experience in various aspects of our business, including architecture, construction, development, accounting, legal services, and property management. They saw there are seldom two days a like in our industry and that serving our residents is our number one priority.
Not only did the 2024 summer interns work hard, they also engaged in frequent networking activities that provided some fun and camaraderie, including a night out at the ballpark, a company picnic, and they even got involved in an industry event sponsored by Woda Cooper and the Ohio Women in Affordable Housing Network.
