Maia Cooper serves as Vice President of Development for WCCI, where she supports the company’s expanding development efforts in Virginia and oversees all purchase agreements for the organization. In this role, she plays a key part in advancing strategic growth initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of complex real estate transactions.

Maia earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and French, magna cum laude, from Chapman University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School.

During law school, she served as a legal intern for the Honorable Brian F. Holeman on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She also gained corporate legal experience as a law clerk in the Office of General Counsel at Pepco Holdings, an Exelon company.

In addition to her professional work, Maia teaches Property Management at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. She is also the proud author of a children’s book called Everybody Deserves a Home, reflecting her commitment to education and community impact.
