An early adopter of sustainable building practices, Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. incorporates best-in-class green building strategies and practices into all developments.

Throughout design, construction, maintenance and during operation, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), Enterprise Green Communities, and EarthCraft certification attributes are incorporated in each property.

Energy-efficient and eco-friendly

Although not all projects achieve a LEED, Enterprise Green Communities, or EarthCraft certification, Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. develops each property with the guidelines in mind. Woda Cooper teams understand the importance of incorporating eco-friendly and energy-efficient measures, and strives to use environmentally-responsible practices whenever possible.

Striving for LEED-level efficiency

Adopting sustainable practices and incorporating energy-efficiency into the properties has achieved significant reductions in operating costs.

Properties where Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. has achieved LEED Gold or Platinum ratings, can achieve a 20 to 30 percent reduction in operating costs compared to similar buildings. Savings are then passed on to the tenant in the form of lower rents.

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. standard is to target LEED Silver ratings.  Woda Cooper Companies, Inc’s portfolio includes more than 55 certified green developments representing over 2,500 units built or under construction, including seven Platinum certified properties, fifteen Gold certified and two Passive House designs.
