Fairwood Commons
Fairwood Commons is a 54-unit senior housing community in the Near East neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, and the first multifamily property in the state built for Passive House certification. LEED Platinum certified, the building’s design results in resident energy bills that are less than half those of comparable properties. Located across from single-family homes with a COTA bus stop at East Main Street and Fairwood Avenue, Fairwood Commons supports seniors in remaining in their neighborhood and aging in place.
