Maia Cooper serves as Vice President of Development for WCCI where she supports the company’s growing development in Virginia. She also oversees all purchase agreements for the organization.
Ms. Cooper received a B.A. in History and a B.A. in French from Chapman University, magna cum laude, and went on to achieve a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
While in law school, Ms. Cooper served as a legal intern for the Honorable Judge Brian F. Holeman on the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. She also completed a year in corporate law serving as a law clerk in the Office of General Counsel for Pepco Holdings, LLC., an Exelon Company.
Today, Maia also teaches Property Management at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. And she is the proud author of a children’s book about affordable housing.
