Katie Mitchell is the Management Accounting Controller at WCCI. With us since 2018, Ms. Mitchell and her team are responsible for the accounting and financial reporting within her portfolio. They coordinate the quarterly and year-end financials for investors and lenders in addition to overseeing day-to-day banking activity.
Ms. Mitchell has an B.A. in Accounting as well as a M.A. in Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University.
As part of her community service, she serves as a bookkeeper for the OpenDoor Women’s Recovery Alliance, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women in recovery from substance use disorder and incarceration, offering free services to help them transition to a drug-free life.
What she loves the most about her job: Not only do I play a small part in helping others, but I love the wide and diverse backgrounds we have across the organization. I’m learning something new every day!
