Mr. Watts guides community engagement policies and practices for Woda Cooper Companies to ensure we are responsive to the needs of the vibrant communities of which we are a part. He has also served as Vice President of Development since 2012, focused on developing quality affordable housing communities in Virginia, and he manages the company’s Norfolk office.
Prior to joining Woda Cooper, Mr. Watts was Senior Commercial Development Manager for the City of Norfolk, VA, where he resides, and he also worked for many years for the Marriott Corporation. He is a graduate of Averett University and attended graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Watts has a college-age daughter, NeVear.
His professional affiliations include being a member of the Council for Urban Economic Development, board member for the Norfolk Tourism Foundation, lifetime member of the NAACP and a member of the Hampton Roads Commercial Real Estate Association, to name a few.
