Joseph M. McCabe has been appointed Senior Vice President for Woda Cooper’s Development Team at their Columbus, Ohio office. He’ll be responsible for expanding growth opportunities as well as leading efforts to develop, acquire and preserve affordable housing in the Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin markets. McCabe brings 25 years of development experience to Woda Cooper and has specialized in tax credits and incentives since 2009.
Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. and its affiliates specialize in the development, design, construction, and management of high-quality affordable multi-family communities, senior communities, and single-family homes. The company was founded in 1990 and now has operations in 18 states and a portfolio of 365 communities and 16,000 units operating or under construction. McCabe previously led development of $275M in multifamily projects, resulting in over 1,000 new affordable housing units for Woda between 2013-2021.
McCabe has served as a Chair and Appointed Member for the City of Columbus Historic Review Commission since 2017. Previous employers include Columbus-based Metropolitan Holdings Limited, The NRP Group in Cleveland and The Hamister Group in Buffalo, NY.
