ArtzyBella Studio + Shop recently celebrated its Grand Opening at Mallalieu Pointe in East Point, GA. The city’s Mayor Deana Holiday Ingraham and other supporters turned out to congratulate ArtzyBella creator/owner Ashley Nicole and take part in the ribbon-cutting at the new business. According to its website, the innovative creative enterprise offers art services to help people, “relieve stress through visual stimulation so they feel empowered to live creatively.”
ArtzyBella’s new space provides an attractive venue for art classes, gallery displays, and items for sale that Ashley and other artists create. Ashley says with Woda Cooper Companies’ help, her business offers a “calming, tranquil environment” where people feel comfortable to gather, browse, and be creative.
“It is a dream come true, I did it from nothing,” says Ashley, who also lives at the property.
“Mallalieu Pointe is truly a Live/Work/Play development and ArtzyBella is an example of what’s possible when talent and vision combine to create an innovative, new business in a community. We applaud Ashley’s entrepreneurial spirit,” says Denis Blackburne, Woda Cooper Senior Vice President.
ArtzyBella is one of four retail businesses being established at Mallalieu Pointe, our 67-unit, mixed-income community near a busy neighborhood Atlanta MARTA station. The property is an example of modern, contemporary design that features green building components throughout; it is East Point’s first property to earn LEED Platinum certification.
Mallalieu Pointe is also a catalyst in East Point’s downtown redevelopment initiative. “Being part of the revitalization in this community was important to me from the beginning,” Ashley says.
Woda Cooper thanks development partner Parallel Housing, Inc., as well as the financial supporters, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, RBC, and Bank of America for helping us to make Mallalieu Pointe possible.
We hope that you are as inspired as we are by Ashley’s work to help infuse art and beauty into people’s lives in her community. We wish you well, ArtzyBella!
