Sparrow Ridge is a new affordable community with 96 apartments for residents age 55 or older who earn between 30 and 80% area median income (AMI). Sparrow Ridge was co-developed by nonprofit Housing Services Alliance and affordable housing leader Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. New high-quality affordable housing was made possible by the opening of Holley Pointe at 622 Effingham Street in downtown Portsmouth. Holley Pointe provides 50 two- and three-bedroom apartment homes affordable for workforce families, singles, and seniors that earn 30 to 80% of area median income.
