The Woda Group, Inc. was honored with the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia’s 2017 Best Use of Historic Tax Credits Award for the Boury Lofts. The awards ceremony was held September 30, 2017, in Charleston, WV.
The award announcement cited many impacts from Woda’s rehabilitation of Boury Warehouse into Boury Lofts in Wheeling:
– Contributions to rebirth of Wheeling’s Central Business District;
– Dramatic improvements to the skyline of Wheeling;
– Fostering interest in the continuing revitalization of other historic buildings in the downtown.
The Preservation Alliance of West Virginia is the statewide grassroots nonprofit devoted to promoting historic preservation in the Mountain State. Each year, they honor historic preservation achievements and projects for their dedication to excellence and best practices in historic preservation.
Woda was nominated by architectural firm The Mills Group.
