An early adopter of sustainable building practices, The Woda Group, Inc. incorporates best-in-class green building strategies and practices into all developments.

Throughout design, construction, maintenance and during operation, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), and Earthcraft certification attributes are incorporated in each property.

Energy-efficient and eco-friendly

Although not all projects achieve a LEED or Earthcraft certificaton, The Woda Group, Inc. develops each property with the guidelines in mind. The Woda Group, Inc. teams understand the importance of incorporating eco-friendly and energy-efficient measures, and strives to use environmentally-responsible practices whenever possible.

Striving for LEED-level efficiency

Adopting sustainable practices and incorporating energy-efficiency into the properties has achieved significant reductions in operating costs.

Properties where The Woda Group, Inc. has achieved LEED Gold or Platinum ratings, can achieve a 20 to 30 percent reduction in operating costs compared to similar buildings. Savings are then passed on to the tenant in the form of lower rents.

The Woda Group, Inc. standard is to target LEED Silver ratings. Currently The Woda Group, Inc. has achieved LEED Gold certification in at least three buildings and one is LEED Platinum.
